Fitness enthusiast and reviewer from Milano

The Short Version

I am Giulia Bianchi, based in Milano, and for several years I have chronicled my experiences at fitness clubs across Italy.

This site exists because I grew tired of selecting gyms based on advertisements and vague referrals, only to find the reality didn't match expectations. I wanted precise, honest information about what these places were really like. Since I couldn't locate it, I chose to build it.

more than a dozen Gyms Visited
three Years Active
more than two hundred Classes Attended

How This Started

My fitness routine kicked off at a small club near Via Del Fitness in Milano. It wasn't perfect, but it was accessible, affordable, and it helped me stay consistent.

After that place closed, I noticed how rapidly the fitness scene in Italy was changing. New clubs opened, new concepts emerged, and marketing grew louder than the actual member experience.

I began trying different gyms and classes, jotting notes after each visit. Over time those notes became this site, created to help others make more informed choices.

My Approach to Reviews

Every review here comes from real visits and real time spent inside the club. I focus on practical details that matter when selecting a membership.

When I assess a fitness center, I usually:

  • Spend enough time to understand routines, peak hours, and patterns
  • Visit on different days and at different times
  • Try more than one training format and instructor
  • Use amenities regularly to assess cleanliness and comfort
  • Talk to other members about what stays consistent and what doesn't
  • Write notes right after each visit

I update reviews when things change significantly: renovations, management shifts, price changes, or new facilities. Each article shows its last update date so you know how current the information is.

What I Look For

My priorities might differ from yours, so here is what matters most to me when evaluating a fitness center:

Comfort and Privacy: Does the space feel well-designed for members, with respectful boundaries and a calm atmosphere?

Equipment Quality: Are machines well-maintained? Is there enough variety? Do fixes happen promptly?

Crowd Management: Can you train during your preferred times without constant waiting?

Clean Facilities: Locker rooms, showers, floors, and equipment surfaces. Cleanliness signals how seriously management takes the member experience.

Honest Membership Practices: Clear pricing, clear rules, and no unpleasant surprises.

Beyond the Gym

Outside of training and writing, I live and work in Milano. This project exists to make fitness choices easier and more transparent for people seeking the right environment.
